Michael Jackson- Remember The Time

So this is one of my favorite videos of all time!
Michael looks fantastic! When I first saw the video it was my mission the next day to
re- rewind my VHS tape to learn the egyptian dance at the end. hehe. Directed by Spike Lee,
a clear view into the past remembering when Africans had great cities like Timbuktu and
egypt is portrayed by Black culture icons Iman, Eddie Murphy and Magic Johnson.
The dance sequence is cleverly woven into the video and the arial view parallel the grandeur of the scene and time. The love story is also very cute and Michael is very charming. Enjoy! Thoughts Comments?

TLC - Waterfalls

I actually performed this song for a talent show with a friend. Ahh memories.
But I didn't have cable at the time and didn't see the video until later. Wow.
what a message and I love that the story and morals of the song are captured by
the video. I love the water scene with the three performers it is peaceful and creative.
Also I appreciated the details throughout the video like the ghost of the mother
following her son.
Thoughts?
P.s. Does anyone think of the silver surfer or the caprisun commercials at the beginning?

Lana Del Rey- Born to Die

The american young love theme is a great parallel to the song. The ornate scenes fit her style and the orchestra, I love the wild tigers "come and take a walk on the wild side." Love that she uses the same model from her other song Blue Jeans which is an ok video. I love a continued story.
What are your thoughts?

Busta Rhymes - Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Can See

One of the best rap videos of all time. The fish eye -bubble- effect is flawless. I love the humor and the allusion to the movie Coming to America. The richness and flavor of Busta Rhymes is matched by this video. The different scenes add great variety to the video but fit seamlessly. What do you think?

Francis and the Light -"The Top"

One of my favorite bands ever. I chose this video because of the simplicity and sharpness. He is so entertaining and the song is amazing.  It is one of my favorite grayscale videos and his dance and energy reminds me of James Brown.
What do you think?

SBTRKT (subtract)- "Wildfire" Official Video

The video reminds me of the grudge. I wasn't really sure where the video was heading at first but I thought it was an interesting concept of the song. I love the special effects and the use of time. Also I love that the director added the logo of the band (the mask). What do you think?

Christina Perri - Jar of Hearts Official Video

Wow I love that the video correlates perfectly with the song. I love the literal interpretation. the special effects were beautiful and the modern ballet and jazz dancers were perfect. The wispiness of the costumes and the mood was great and framed the scenes beautiful.
